Nothing is easy. We signed up for extended cable service so Ty could watch the soccer channel and lost access to VHS recording. Don says it’s theoretically possible to have it all, but the cable guy wasn’t versed in the old technology. A mad scramble is underway to find a solution before The Bachelor airs on Monday night. It’s the kind of show that’s better to watch in company and without commercials, so Adrienne has been recording shows to watch with Chloe on her next break from school.
I had a funny conversation with someone who worked at our company in the early 90s. She asked how things were going these days and I mentioned some of the new technologies. To which she remarked: “climbing up the ladder out of the lowest sewer of integration and into the clouds.” I will have to remember that next time someone asks where I work.

The good news: 1 cable made it possible to record VHS despite the Cable Guy's nay-saying. Never take "it can't be done" for an answer!
